Tools for the teams putting light on silicon.
Elyon Semiconductor builds Lumicron, a native design and simulation studio for photonic chips; Maple, the free Metal‑accelerated engine behind its physics; and ChipStar, a project platform that gives engineering organizations a working memory.
About
A small company with strong opinions about tools.
Elyon Semiconductor is an independent software company building modern tools for the semiconductor world — from how photonic chips get designed to how the teams behind them stay organized.
We think those tools should feel as modern as the chips they help create — fast, native, and honest about what they know. So we build them that way: small, focused products, engineered with care.
Ongoing work
What we're building.
Two products, one engine — and one conviction: the semiconductor industry deserves software that feels like it was built this decade.
In development
A native Mac studio for photonic chip design — open GDS and OASIS layouts at GPU speed, author parametric designs in Python, and run physical light simulations, all in one app.
